How to deal with inaccurate control of servo motor position determination?

Reasons and solutions:

a,  Firstly, confirm whether the current value of the pulses actually emitted by the controller is consistent with the expected value. If not, check and correct the program;

b,  Monitor whether the number of pulse commands received by the servo drive is consistent with those issued by the controller. If not, check the control line cable;

c,  Check whether the setting of the servo command pulse mode is consistent with the controller setting, such as CW/CCW or pulse+direction;

d,  The servo gain setting is too large. Try adjusting the servo gain manually or automatically again;

e,  Servo motors are prone to accumulate errors during reciprocating motion. It is recommended to set a mechanical origin signal under process conditions and perform an origin search operation before the error exceeds the allowable range;

f,  The mechanical system itself has low accuracy or there are abnormalities in the transmission mechanism (such as displacement of the coupling between the servo motor and the equipment system).

2. Motor deviation counter overflow error occurs when inputting longer command pulses.

Reasons and solutions;

a,  The gain setting is too large. Manually adjust the gain again or use the automatic gain adjustment function;

b,  Extend acceleration and deceleration time;

c,  If the load is too heavy, it is necessary to select a larger capacity motor or reduce the load, and install transmission mechanisms such as reducers to improve the load capacity.

3. How to deal with the overspeed fault reported by the servo motor during position control operation?

Reasons and solutions:

a,  The servo run signal occurs as soon as it is connected: check whether the wiring of the servo motor power cable and encoder cable is correct and whether there is any damage.

b,  Occurrence during high-speed operation after inputting pulse command: the pulse frequency output by the controller is too high, modify the program to adjust the frequency of the pulse output;

c,  The electronic gear ratio is set too high;

d,  The servo gain setting is too large. Try adjusting the servo gain manually or automatically again.
